I've played Resonance and a bit of Nuclear Throne. And Journey! And some Super Mario 3D World, and stuff.

Been playing a lot of small, indie games lately.

Recently played a couple of No Man's Sky parody games:
Old Man's Sky - An Atari 2600 version, where you explore a handful of very similar looking planets.
No Mario's Sky - A Super Mario themed version where the worlds have coin blocks and Goombas and such.
The Mario one was really popular, possibly more so after Nintendo tried to take them down.
(I made a video of the game and got a lot of views even on my small channel, that's how popular it is.)

Also having fun with one called 1985, which is a Mario style game with a bit of Metroid exploration going on.
I love indie works, they can be so creative.

I've been playing Mini Metro quite a lot recently XD and some retro games on PC Engine and SNES (Bomberman 94, Super Gussun Oyoyoyo...)

Been playing one lately that I found on Itch.io. Sphere Complex.
It's a marble physics game in the line of Marble Madness and Marble Blast Ultra.
Great music, awesome visuals, and is just an all around good time.
Some levels are a bit of a challenge, but that's half the fun.

At game events I've played some games that are unreleased. One of them Boor, was really nice. Recommended one it's out.

Recently played Rad Rodgers, a game I backed on KickStarter.
It's a fun game inspired by 90s platformers, so lots of running, jumping, and making stuff explode with a big gun.

Have played a few winter/Christmas themed games as well. Indie works, mostly.
Death Ray Santa, a twin stick shooter with lots and lots and lots of bright neon lights moving around.

Presents Presents Presents, an arcade style game where you fly around dropping presents on good kids and coal on bad ones.
It has local multiplayer, which is probably a good time.

Dogforce:Seasons...a game where you play as a dog in a park.
It's as much fun as you would imagine.

I'm totally "engaged" with The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth + now.
This is just the best (IMHO) rogue lite game ever! I've already got all achievements and I can't stop playing yet
